What is two-way messaging?

Two-way messaging allows you to message back-and-forth directly with your customers regarding their orders. Two-way messaging empowers your dispensary staff to communicate with customers straight from the MyBlackbird platform, removing the need to rely on outside contact methods, increasing productivity, and providing transparency in the order fulfillment process.

What number are two-way messages sent from?

Customers will receive conversational messages from the transactional number assigned to your Location by Blackbird. This is the same number they receive loyalty messages, pickup order messages and delivery ETA messages from.

Do customers have to be subscribed to Connect receive two-way messages sent by my staff?

No. Texting customers in relation to a customer-initiated transaction (like an order) is allowed without explicit opt-in to marketing messages from the customer.
