Products and inventory are considered separate entities at Blackbird. Whether you are using the MyBlackbird platform as a point-of-sale or for online menu management, you will be required to create both products & inventory in the system.

Managing Products

The products created in your account act as the hub for all inventory quantities associated with the product.

Example of the Manage Products Block Dashboard

Managing the products created in your account is easy! These can be accessed from two different views, the Manage Products Block and Manage Inventory Block:

Manage Products Block - Dashboard view of all products created in your account. Here, you can view and edit product information.

Manage Inventory Block - Dashboard view of all batches of inventory created in your account. Here, you can access the products the inventory is associated with for reference.

Managing Inventory

The inventory you create within a product are the actual items that will be added to retailers' in-store & online orders, as well as wholesalers' inventory shipments.

Example of the Manage Inventory Block Dashboard

Managing the inventory created in your account is also easy! These batches of inventory can be accessed from two different views, the Manage Products Block and Manage Inventory Block:

Manage Products Block - Dashboard view of all products created in your account. Here, you can view, edit, and transfer all active, inactive, and archived batches of inventory associated with the product.

Manage Inventory Block - Dashboard view of all batches of inventory created in your account. Here, you can view, edit, and transfer all inventory.
