We refer to all movement of inventory as Shipments in MyBlackbird, which is why this term is now used in place of Purchase Orders. To access your shipments, you must first navigate to the Shipping & Delivery Management Block and then select the Inventory Shipments Block.
Adding Inventory to a Shipment
Once you've created an Inventory Shipment, you're ready to begin adding inventory to the shipment so that it can be received by another location. Start by clicking the Add Inventory button, seen below.
Next, you will be shown all of the inventory currently located at the address you are shipping from. Here, you can search for the inventory you would like to add to the shipment, as well as view all information associated with each batch of inventory.
Select a batch of inventory and choose the Add button. Next, determine the quantity of units you would like to ship.
Continue to Add Inventory until your shipment is ready to be received by a third-party, or ready to be delivered to a third-party location. Once you are finished adding inventory to the shipment, simply mark the shipment as Ready for Review.
